Underpacking Foils
Calibrated polyester films for underpacking the offset press cylinders.
Underpacking Polyesters : glossy back side. Strong adhesive. Suitable for sheet-fed machines.

The adhesive underpacking is repositionable, yet ensures a high shear and allows an easy removal from the cylinder after use, without leaving residues onto it.

Underpacking Polyesters advantages are:
·          High dimensional stability.
·          Ease of removal, thanks to the special formula of its adhesive.
·          No residues of glue after usage.
·          Very long shelf life.

Underpacking Sheets...calibrated and pre-treated against moisture
What are these materials needed for?
Underpacking sheets are placed in offset printing machines between the rubber blanket and the printing plate to adapt to the various substrates.
This is the only way to achieve the optimum pressure from one substrate to the next.

From marks-3zet of course!
  • As a result of constant quality control during manufacturing, fluctuations in the thickness of the sheets never exceed 0.01 mm.
  • Minimum dot gain guarantees the highest quality.
  • Special water-repelling pre-treatment prevents maceration.
  • Non-skid surface prevents the sheet from bunching up under the printing plate or the rubber blanket.
  • Colour scheme – every thickness has an associated colour to avoid mix-ups.
  • Underpacking sheets are available in 11 different thicknesses and all popular formats.

Overview of the various thicknesses with the associated colours
Thickness Colour

0,1 mm grain
0,15 mm brown
0,2 mm green
0,25 mm golden
